Intro to Being Here

Transmedia video game play. Audience members played a walking simulator made in Unreal Engine 4 in which players bring a piece of 'content' into reality by feeding it things like shark, beer or empty space. They then went to a theatre show in hopes of meeting this piece of content.

I managed all the technical systems such as AI programming, animation programming, Mac and Windows builds, and database management. I also had to coordinate with remote artists ensuring assets came in on time and of quality. I designed the whole interactions involving feeding the content and how that system worked.

The game showed at the Cohen New Works Festival along with the theatre piece. I'm currently working on getting a public release build out. A small interview with the project lead was done on the game before my involvement.
